We Are in a Pinch !!

UAPRN members and specifially UAPRN Chapter Presidents,

After two pleas for data from Dr. Nelson, a plea from me last month, a plea from our most recent state-wide conference call, and a plea at this past Saturday's state UAPRN business luncheon, we have only received information from 2 of the 12 chapters on members who have served as preceptors.

I am making this a final, final request. Our deadline will be this upcoming Friday, September 19, 2014 at 5:00 PM. If Dr. Nelson or I have not received the requested information on members who have served as precceptors over the past year, then I will have no choice but to cancel the Appreciation Gala scheduled in November during national Nurse Practitioner Week. Without a invitation list of members who have been preceptors, we can not move forward and should not move forward in our planning this event to honor you all.

I can not justify the exorbant amount of time, energy, and cost that this organization is willing to invest in honoring those outstanding members who have served as a preceptor in the last year when only a handful of you have responded after 5 requests.

Please do not let all the efforts that we have already invested in planning this event fall by the wayside. TODAY, contact your chapter president with the requested information and tell him/her to email it to Dr. Nelson!!

The future of this gala now rests in your hands.....
