The Senate Rules Committee did not meet today and the legislature will not be in session tomorrow. Things can get pretty bizarre toward last days, and it became strange and stranger today.  The House is still disagreeing over tax reform and the Senate is debating a number of operating rules as well as legislation. Therefore, after a long day, the decision was made to recess tomorrow. Therefore the Rules Committee did not meet. The revised calendar is as follows:

 1:00Pm Monday, April 11 - LD 38    10:00am Tuesday, April 12 - LD 39

 10:00am Thursday, April 14 - LD 40

Rules Committee will meet Monday morning to set the Calendar for that day.

Action Needed: Continue to call members of the Rules Committee at the phone numbers listed below. Leave a message. E-mail the members through the link by clicking on their name and following the instructions. If you are a constituent of any member of Rules, identify yourself. Remember to thank Senators Unterman, Ligon, Tate, and Orock for their actions in Committee to move the bill forward.

Message: Please move House Bill 303 to the Calendar for a full Senate vote so it can pass this session. This bill improves access for patients, eliminates unnecessary delays in patients obtaining needed forms and will reduce cost to the health care system.
