Legislative Action Alert HB 303

A sub-committee of the Senate Health and Human Services Committee will consider HB 303 this afternoon and, if a positive outcome, on to the full Committee. (Reminder that this bill authorizes APRN’s to sign forms with only 2 exceptions (Death certificates and assigning a percentage of disability for Workman’s Compensation)

Two actions are needed:

  1. Please contact the Chairman (who is a nurse) and members of this committee and voice your support of HB 303. 
  2. Please contact your State Senator and ask him/her to “vote yes” for HB 303.  Due to the volume of e-mails members receive at this point in the session, put “vote yes” for HB 303. In the subject heading, and or place a call to the member’s office.

Never underestimate the power of one communication.  With your help we will be successful in getting this legislation to the Governor’s desk. Links to the members of this committee are below.
