Its Time to Brag a Little !!!

Greetings to all the APRNs throughout the state!

I hope everyone is enjoying a great summer. I am sending this request out to all UAPRN chapter presidents, other chapter officers, and members of UAPRN.

As I begin to put together the second state newsletter of UAPRN for the summer of 2013, I am wanting to hear from every chapter out there about what is going on in your individual chapters.

Many of you attended the AANP conference recently in Las Vegas, Nevada. My state vice president, Ms. Wanda Jones, reported back to me that Georgia had one of the highest attended state members meeting of any state present. Furthermore, she told me of your enthusiasm, energy, and great ideas on continuing to grow our memebership as well as participation throughout the state.

With such wonderful reports back from Las Vegas, please  let me hear some of these great stories so that I may put them in our newsletter. We have had several of our UAPRN members receive special certifications while others have completed a very strenuous committment in earning their doctoral degrees as a DNP and Ph.D !!! These are the stories we need to hear about so pat yourselves on the back and allow yourselves to brag a little about yourselves and/or your chapter. 

The submission deadline for having any pictures, stories, articles of interests etc. in is July 19, 2013. Please let me have a plethora of stories to submit in this upcoming newsletter about the many, many talented and committed APRNs that we have around our state.
