Hello,
Several news outlets and Legiscan are reporting incorrect information regarding HB 1046.
The reports state APRNs and PAs CAN sign death certificates and home health certification.
THIS IS INCORRECT! The home health piece had to be removed and not included in the as passed 1046.
We are working with GAHHA to correct this issue. Allowing NPs and PAs to sign HH certs will cause denials by medicare and a mess for the home health agencies.
