If any of the members of the House Health Committee are your state representative…please send an email to them with the following message. Please state in the email that you live in their state district. ( see attached committee member list)

Please support HB 1046 which is currently in the House Health Committee. It should be on the committee agenda on Tuesday, February 20.

This bill removes barriers on healthcare delivery by allowing APRNs and PAs to write orders for home healthcare services and sign death certificates.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE AUTHORITY TO SIGN BOTH MUST BE DELEGATED BY THE SUPERVISING PHYSICIAN…. SO THE PHYSICIAN STILL MAINTAINS CONTROL OVER WHETHER OR NOT AN APRN OR PA WILL BE GRANTED THIS AUTHORITY.

Please support HB 1046 and remove these restrictions on our APRNs and PAs and grant the ability for physicians to delegate these authorities to APRNs and PAs.
