The Government Relations Council along with our lobbyist has been hard at work! There have been many legislative meetings recently looking at access to healthcare and the APRN / physician protocol agreements. There is going to be proposals to even change some of the requirements in protocols. Therefore, if you want to know more information or be more involved, please attend our next Legislative Advocacy Workshop that will be held Saturday, October 7th, from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm at Emory DeKalb hospital. Registration and more details to follow. The BOM is planning on having a representative at this meeting as well to review protocol agreements!
