The Carl Vinson VA Medical Center at Dublin, Georgia is accepting application for its Residency Training Program open to Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). This is a post-graduate education program for newly licensed and certified AGPCNP or FNP graduates with no previous experience working in an NP role.
- Full-time, stipend, 12-month, rigorous education and clinical practice program.
- Includes weekly didactic session, precepted primary care sessions, specialty rotations, simulations, and mentored independent clinic practice hours focused on provision of care to veterans with diverse health care needs.
Application for the 2022-2023 cohort is open from __12/13/2021_ to _2/18/2022__. The program is set to begin on May 1st, 2022.
Applicants must have graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program between July 2021- June 2022 to be eligible for program.

- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Official transcript
- Copy of Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Copy of AGPCNP or FNP licensure (if certified)
- Three Letters of Recommendation
- Nursing Faculty
- Previous / Current Employer (Supervisor)
- Colleague (NP/MD)
