We Need You to Activate As Soon As You Can for SB 321!!

Dear UAPRN Members and Followers,

We are at a critical time now. UAPRN has worked in conjunction with CAPRN for years fighting for the ability to order Advanced Radiographic Imaging.  At this time, we can only order these tests in an emergency. We are already determining the need for these tests in many cases but must take an unnecessary step of seeking the signature of a supervising physician. We are certified, educated, licensed and trained to order them. Not allowing APRNs to order these tests results in delays in care and increased costs for our patients.

Did you know that although SB 321 overwhelmingly passed the Georgia House and Senate, it has very strong opposition as it awaits Governor Kemp's signature? Many organizations and groups are aggressively lobbying against our bill. Fear mongering is being used to accomplish this.

DO NOT ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN. WE ARE SO CLOSE AND THE FACTS ARE ON OUR SIDE!!!!

Please take a few moments to send the call to action via email and/or call the governors office tomorrow. All of the information has been sent out in the previous announcement. This is not just about us. It's about access to healthcare for all Georgians and our duty to ensure it.
