GA APRNS! YOUR Responses are needed for this Important Survey! So far only 133 Responses from GA's 14,000 APRNs! Takes minutes!

The brief, anonymous, voluntary, IRB reviewed survey can be accessed online at: https://redcap.link/nationalAPRNSurvey

A national U.S. survey was launched on June 1, 2020, to assess impact of APRN practice restrictions and effect of COVID-19 pandemic on APRN practice. However, as of today, there are 133 responses from Georgia out of the total of 3,600+ national responses. This is a good response, but we are aiming for even more responses. The purpose of the study is to: 1) describe state practice barriers, 2) determine the effect of COVID-19 pandemic-related suspension of all practice restrictions or waiver of select practice agreement requirements in states with reduced or restricted practice, and 3) explore the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on APRN practice.

As an example, I took the survey a few weeks ago and shared my experience as a Georgia APRN that I could not easily volunteer to help in Georgia hotspots with COVID, due to the fact that I would have to first find a GA physician willing to supervise me to meet the current legal requirements here in GA.

Thanks for taking a few mintues of your time to contribute to this important research that will help remove Barriers and move the needle toward FPA in our state!
