**Breaking News** Gov. Brian Kemp to give proclamation to UAPRN before the Nurses' Press Conference

Gov. Brian Kemp will present a proclamation to UAPRN before the nurses' press conference Thursday, March 5th at 10:00 am at the Georgia state capitol.
The press conference will be an acknowledgment, and celebration of nursing. The nursing profession is experiencing a highlight of being named for the 18th year in a row as the most trusted profession. The year 2020 has also be named the global year of the nurse. During the event, Senator Renee Unterman will be awarded the Lifetime Trailblazer award for her work in the healthcare industry. Also awarded will be Representative Alan Powell and others with the Kindle award for their support of the nursing profession. The group also looks to shed light on all legislation nurses are supporting this legislative session, HB409, SB109, and SB321.
