Tell them to hear and vote YES to HB 409. They are serving in the Special House Committee on Access to Quality Healthcare where HB 409 currently is. This bill will allow APRNs to order advanced imaging such as CT/MRI without an MD signature which is important for increasing access to care! APRNs can already order CT/MRI in emergency settings. APRNs are not interpreting the images but they are using the information interpreted by radiologists to help in screening for breast and lung cancers, etc. Please do this today! Thank you!
