Call to Action Update!!!
We no longer need to call Rules Committee Members! Now we need to focus on contacting All Senators asking them to VOTE IN FAVOR or our nursing bills! 
New Call to ACTION!!!
Monday through Wednesday this week Call your own State Senator (look up at openstates.org) and call at least 5 other Senators to make sure each State Senator heres from Nurses.

Sample Call to your State Senator: " Good morning, I am calling as one of GAs 160,000 nursing, and I am also a constituent of Senator XXXX. I am asking him/her to Vote IN FAVOR of SB 334, SB 434 today (Monday Feb 26th) and Vote IN FAVOR of SB 351 on Wednesday Feb 28th."


Sample Call to other Senators: " Good morning, I am calling as one of GAs 160,000 nursing, and I am asking Senator XXXX to Vote IN FAVOR of SB 334, SB 434 today (Monday Feb 26th) and Vote IN FAVOR of SB 351 on Wednesday Feb 28th."

Strategy: My last name Bachtel starts with B, so in addition to calling my own State Senator, Marty Harbin,  I am going to call 5 Senators whose last names start with A, B, C or D. If my last name was Turner, I would call at least 5 State Senators whose last names started with R, S, T, U.

Nursing Bills SB 334 (BON Bill) and SB 434 (Physician Workforce Bill) are up for vote on Senate floor today. 

TODAY If you can be at Capitol today at the last minute that would be great. We also need a large number of nurses present at all hours on Crossover Day Wed. Feb. 28th. 10 am until MIDNIGHT. We will be focused on pulling out Senators asking them to support our legislation and keeping a tally of their responses.
