Legislative Action Alert- SB 94 Assigned to the House Health and Human Services Committee. Your Immediate Action Requested

Senate Bill 94 has now “crossed over” to the House of Representatives. It has been assigned to the House Health and Human Services Committee. There are only 8 days until the end of this legislative session. Rapid and high volume contact is needed to members of the House Health and Human Services Committee immediately. Please also contact your own Representative and identify yourself as a constituent and ask for their support.  It is important to have both physicians and patients who are supportive of APRN's to write/call as well.

Attached to this alert are:

  1. Contact lists for both the House Health and Human Services Committee and the full House of Representatives

Sample Letters will be sent in this and a subsequent announcement  that can be used by  APRN's, physicians, and patients/community members.

Please continue let us know which Representatives have been contacted. Contacts and responses can be reported to lsearcy@caprn.org

Thank you to everyone who contacted Senators over the past weeks.  Your quick responses to requests for action made a critical difference in the successful passage of SB 94 in the Senate.  Your efforts are again needed to further advance this bill in the House.   Your voice does make a difference!

Let's not forget to show our gratitude!

Our Senate Sponsors and Co-Sponsors  went above and beyond to secure passage of SB 94 the day of the vote. Please take a moment to call and/or write and thank them. This is one instance when a hand written snail mail note would be very appropriate.
