Happy New Year APRNs of Georgia! This is going to be an Amazing year for Georgia APRNs with a FPA Bill to be introduced and you will help make History because you are willing to to learn and take part in Legislative Advocacy so we can advance our cause to improve Georgian's access to the high quality healthcare APRNs provide! Spread the word, it is not too late to sign up!
Our Bootcamp for Basic Training with Julianna McConnell, the Georgia CAPRN Lobbyist is going to be a spectacular event.
You will have an interactive morning, having the opportunity to interact with key legislators from both the Georgia House and Georgia Senate as well as Representatives from the Office of the Lt. Governor and other important offices.
Here are the details you need:
*Room 450 (top floor State Capitol) is our meeting room.
*We will start promptly at 9:30 am.
*You will want to allow 30 minutes for parking and working your way into the building.
*You will need your driver's license to get into the Capitol Building.
*If you can bring a white lab coat (and an APRN blue scarf if you already have one) we will plan on taking a group photo.
*Food and Drinks are not allowed in our meeting room, but CAPRN will have a light snack and drink for you in the hallway area outside the room.
