SR 188 APRN Study Committee Appointments Made!

APRNs of Georgia,

Appointments have now been made to the Senate Study Committee on Barriers to Georgians' Access to Adequate Healthcare (examining APRNs barriers to practice). Here is the link to view all committee appointments, including the SR 188 appointments.

Congrats to everyone appointed to the Committee!

Nurses from across the state need to be present at these meetings (in addition to other study committee meetings relevant to nursing and healthcare). Once committee meeting locations and dates/times are published we will share and encourage attendance.

We also need important feedback from you on key barrier issues APRNs in Georgia are facing to draft a slate of topics to be covered in presentations and to identify the expert presenters on the topics to testify before the committee. Also of interest will be APRN Exemplar pracitices near the study committee locations, Patient testimony, etc. So please respond to calls for this kind of feedback in the near future.
