Part-Time Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (Outpatient)

Locations: Monroe, GA and Lilburn, GA

Position Overview

Excellent Pediatrics is seeking a compassionate and clinically strong Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our established outpatient pediatric practice. This part-time, non-exempt position focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative and efficient clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform sick visits, well-child exams, and routine pediatric assessments

• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions

• Manage pediatric asthma, including evaluation, treatment planning, and ongoing monitoring

• Assess and manage pediatric anxiety and depression within scope of practice

• Interpret pulmonary function tests (PFTs) and incorporate results into clinical care plans

• Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans within scope of practice

• Provide preventive care, immunizations, and anticipatory guidance

• Order and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic studies

• Educate patients and families on health, development, and disease management

• Maintain accurate documentation using eClinicalWorks EMR

• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

• Licensed Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) or Family Nurse Practitioner with pediatric experience

• Active Georgia NP license; DEA license or eligibility required

• Strong clinical judgment and patient communication skills

• Experience managing asthma and behavioral health conditions preferred

Employment Details

• Part-time, non-exempt (hourly) position

• Eligible for overtime per FLSA guidelines

• Work across two clinic locations (Monroe and Lilburn)
