Position Description

We are seeking a PRN/part-time Advanced Practice Provider to work at Tanner Urgent Care clinics.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • In collaboration with a physician(s), the NP/PA performs triage, physical exams, collects and documents data, orders laboratory studies, diagnostic procedures, prescribes appropriate interventions and medications, coordinates the care of patients, and provides direct patient care services.
  • Analyze clinical practice patterns to provide the best medical care and to increase effectiveness and efficiency.

Job Eligibility Requirements

Education & Licensure

  • Nurse Practitioners: Requires completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program, with a master’s degree in nursing.
  • Physician Assistants: Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Must be board certified.
  • GA licensure required.

Experience

  • 1+ years of APP experience strongly preferred.

Clinic Schedule

  • Monday - Friday, 8a - 8p (or until last patient seen); Sat/Sun 8a - 5p (or until last patient)
